An evening with Albert, 3 soldiers & Michael!

last night my friend and I spent the evening at the Royal Albert Hall. We had supper in Leith's Cafe Consort, and then was entertained for the evening by 3 soldiers & Michael Bolton.
Confessing that I'm a fan of Michael Bolton is a like a little guilty secret, however having seen him a couple of times over the last 20 years, he never disappoints. Last night he was supported by the 3 serving soldiers who have recorded an album in-between tours of Afghanistan.
They were amazing.
Michael performed all his classics, along with sections of swing, Sinatra and opera... two and a half hours of pure entertainment.
Michael dedicated the evening to the militaries, and Help for Heroes. Explaining his decision to team up with the soldiers, Bolton says, "I have great pleasure in welcoming The Soldiers to the shows at the Royal Albert Hall because I have always, and continue to express 100 per cent support for the military at home and abroad. It is because of these people, the bravest of us all, that we have the lives and liberty that we cherish. "From visiting military hospitals in the USA, it only emphasises that these people should get all the respect and support they deserve from all walks of life including those in the entertainment industry.

A fab night was had by both of us, in a truly beautiful setting.
