easter bunny is coming.........................

well another week over...thankyou to everyone who has left me lovely comments this week. I got everything to manchester in one piece and my work friend was overwhelmed with everything..(baby hormones!)...she has 3 weeks to go but I think she will be lucky if she lasts another week!.I picked the worse day to go (wednesday)...it was VERY windy and the train was on reduced speed due to the weather so it took ages......Well i'm now thinking about Easter...this is what I made for the kids last year, so really stumped this year with what to do different!......i'm off to think now!!!!!.....Tx

Nappy Cake

Well I have completed my challenge!......a friend a work is leaving to have a baby this week.....so I've made her a few bits....I found out that the nursery is apple green with barnaby bear paper. So i went to mamas & papas and got a swatch of border and have made some accompanying gifts!....A Journalling jar & Journal....and a Nappy Cake.

Ingredients are: 38 nappies, 2 bottles, 5 sleepsuits, 3 feeding cloths, 1 pair socks, 2 pairs scratch mittens, 2 bibs, 1 cutlery set, 1 moisturising cream ,nappy pins and a teddy sprinkled with love & hugs

I have made some cookies as well.......this is my first go at a nappy cake and I'm quite pleased with it...would definitely do them again.

Bella Birthday Hugs

Today is my very special friend Chrissy's birthday.....so just sending big hugs & love....Here is her card and gift card as I have booked to take her to see the Jersey Boys in London ~ new musical which follows the life of Frankie Valli...Oh what a night.....she is having a little gathering at her place on Saturday so will see her then....Happy Birthday. xxx..... as you can see i have cut up my very special Heidi Grace papers (reluctantly i may add!).....this weekends challenge is to construct a Nappy cake! & baby journal jar for friend at work who is leaving to have a baby.
