Hi...very quick post...here is my card for the Tilda & Co challenge, this week....had to incorporate a sketch ,which i have, onto a handbag shaped card....hope everyone is well....will pop back tomorrow as I should have more time!

thought i would pop in with a quick post...here is my atc for this weeks challenge on Tilda & friends....theme was yellow & blue....think I've managed this!......

On another note I have this week won two awards from other bloggers for my blog and bits!..so thanks girls, sometimes you think that you are the only one that reads your ramblings!....but this week as well as getting to know my 'sisters' in our blog group I have also been left messages from some far flung places...Australia, Malaysia as well as Canada & USA....so thankyou all very much I am quite amazed.

Easter Wishes & chocolate kisses......

Happy Easter to everyone.....i hope you all have a lovely day with your loved ones.....I have finished baking very early this morning and here are some of my goodies for the kids.... & gramps!.....there are Easter Simmnel Cupcakes...

(i have RSI from rolling 130 marzipan balls!)...and a selection of chocolate cupcakes ...topped with either miniature cream egss or mini eggs!....

I will post the recipe for the Simmnel cakes later. I have filled some prima bottles up with mini eggs and 'scrapped' some chocolate!...Tx

Chocolate Lovers Club

well it's easter saturday and i've just finished my 1st atc challenge for here......i hope everyone's well....weather is pants today....gramps was particularly difficult today, ..........not a great day all round really....have just finished baking my easter simnel cupcakes, will post some pics tomorrow....

can you believe the weather...last easter the weather was glorious.....this year..wind/rain & snow!...this is a very quick post as tonights tv dilemma is ....CSI New York....or Pride & Prejudice....think it may have to be P&P as CSI is repeated tomorrow night!.......I LOVE this film......on that note i'm off to get ready for Mr Darcy!

Good Friday greetings to all......in between stuffing myself with Hot Cross Buns i thought i would share my easter cards that I made for the kids & gramps last night......although I did have to stop to concentrate on Dr Mcdreamey.......Ooooh...........(Big Sigh!)............he was just a little bit more scrummy than my hot cross buns.......... so here they are:

Watched ashes to ashes last night and i'm not sure if I know anymore now than the 1st episode!....i am liking it as it takes me back to my teenage years.....talking of teenage years, one of my very old friends emailed me this today.....he knows how to make me smile and feel young again!!!!!...........thankyou x

the easter bunny is leaving LOTS of Goodies!.

well I'm very excited now.......not only have I just seen the trailer for the Sex & The City movie but have also been introduced to this.....the delicious Patrick Dempsey (aka Dr McDreamy (Thursday 10pm C5))..........looks like i will be booking lots of tickets at the flicks.....those of you who know me well, know that I am a HUGE S&tC fan, not only for my love of shoes, handbags & NY...but also that i believe that everyone has a 'Big' in their life............so was very cautious about the movie as the series was so fantastic. BUT having watched the trailer (posted on the side bar) i am incredibly excited, I know that I will need to take a shoe full of tissues as I've already blubbed at the trailer!!!!!!!!!!!!! how sad am i!........

Haven't been feeling too great the last few days, so have caught up on some sleep and chilling out....which has given me time to catch up on TV.....and I'm a little excited.....Look who's back on Thursday....Dr Mcdreamey! (elevated to scrum of the week!)...Greys Anatomy is back YEH!!!!!.....I'm also loving The Fixer at the moment and Ashes to Ashes (if only just for the soundtrack).....

I've caught up with posting my A-Z cupcake recipe layouts!.....here's my Christmas Morning Muffins, Dulce De Leche (Bannoffe) & my Easter Cupcakes are a couple of posts below..... I now have the challenge of a cupcake for F.

My friend sent me this today as they know it has two of my favourite things! An Aston Martin Vantage and Rupert Penry-Jones (aka Adam Spooks)....how yummy is this!

Easter Cupcakes

As the weather is sooooo rubbish today I've scrapped my easter cupcakes for the Tilda & Co challenge. The recipe is hidden on two egg shaped cards behind the photo.

Ingredients

For the cake For the icing
110g (4oz) butter or margarine 130g (4½oz) unsalted butter
110g (4oz) caster sugar 250g (9oz) icing sugar
2 medium size eggs 1tbsp cocoa powder
110g (4oz) self raising flour, sieved small bar chocolate
25g (1oz) cocoa milk or warm water
2oz Chocolate chips To decorate
Easter Cupcake Cases Coloured Chocolate mini eggs

Method
Pre-heat oven to 180ºC/350ºF/Gas Mark 4. Place the Cupcake Cases into a cupcake tin.
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs Fold in the flour and cocoa with a metal spoon. Add Chocolate chips.
Place spoonfuls of the mixture into the Baking Cases and bake for 15 - 20 minutes until well risen and firm to the touch. Remove from the oven and leave to cool on a cooling rack.
Use a star nozzle to pipe the Butter Icing in a circular pattern on top of each cake, sprinkle with crushed flake and place three chocolate mini eggs in the centre of each.
To make your own butter icing, place the butter in a bowl and beat until soft.
Gradually sift and beat in the icing sugar and then add enough milk / water to make the icing fluffy and spreadable. Sift and beat the cocoa powder, melt chocolate and stir in to the icing Makes: 12

well another week over...thankyou to everyone who has left me lovely comments this week. I got everything to manchester in one piece and my work friend was overwhelmed with everything..(baby hormones!)...she has 3 weeks to go but I think she will be lucky if she lasts another week!.I picked the worse day to go (wednesday)...it was VERY windy and the train was on reduced speed due to the weather so it took ages......Well i'm now thinking about Easter...this is what I made for the kids last year, so really stumped this year with what to do different!......i'm off to think now!!!!!.....Tx

to finish off the present here is the card!...........all i have to do now is get it all to manchester in one piece!!!

Nappy Cake

Well I have completed my challenge!......a friend a work is leaving to have a baby this week.....so I've made her a few bits....I found out that the nursery is apple green with barnaby bear paper. So i went to mamas & papas and got a swatch of border and have made some accompanying gifts!....A Journalling jar & Journal....and a Nappy Cake.

Ingredients are: 38 nappies, 2 bottles, 5 sleepsuits, 3 feeding cloths, 1 pair socks, 2 pairs scratch mittens, 2 bibs, 1 cutlery set, 1 moisturising cream ,nappy pins and a teddy sprinkled with love & hugs

I have made some cookies as well.......this is my first go at a nappy cake and I'm quite pleased with it...would definitely do them again.

Bella Birthday Hugs

Today is my very special friend Chrissy's birthday.....so just sending big hugs & love....Here is her card and gift card as I have booked to take her to see the Jersey Boys in London ~ new musical which follows the life of Frankie Valli...Oh what a night.....she is having a little gathering at her place on Saturday so will see her then....Happy Birthday. xxx..... as you can see i have cut up my very special Heidi Grace papers (reluctantly i may add!).....this weekends challenge is to construct a Nappy cake! & baby journal jar for friend at work who is leaving to have a baby.
