Ladies Night....

who can resist an evening when it consists of champagne, topless waiters and rugby thighs!.... Last night Saracens Rugby academy boys hosted a charity event at the beautiful Sopwell House. The event was in aid of Henry's Trust, who was present at the event last night, his brother Will, and the academy boys organised the event which was great fun.
The event was hosted by the legend Richard Hill, who was a master of ceremony and kept 300 hundred champagne charged ladies is some semblance of order!.. which was no mean feat.
We had a table of 10, 9 of us ladies and one Sarries 1st team, we were joined by Noah Cato, who was lovely.
The academy boys were the topless wine waiters, during the dinner. After the main course the boys were auctioned off in pairs to spend an afternoon with the lucky bidder! ( for housework, gardening, coaching at childrens school etc!) After dessert was served (which was a scrummy white chocolate & cherry cheesecake) the boys bought a little "Glee" to the event with their own version of Single Ladies!
A great night had by all, I think there was a few sore heads this morning. (not me)It was lovely to catch up with everyone and it was a much welcomed lift to what is a difficult week.
Here is a clip from Sarries TV of some highlights from the night....
I'm sure that I will have more photo's over the next few days!

I am happy to post that the project that i have been working on lots lately has finally gone 'live'!.... hoorah, i may just get a resemblance of a life back now! The big yellow shop has finally gone 'on-line'....
Anything that you see 'modeled' on a person has passed through my hands over the past 6 weeks, as i have managed the stock out to the photo shoots!.... we are now working on the new season launch, but hopefully things will be a little calmer!..
there are some fab features..... love the paper doll this will take all back to childhood!... and the wish room!

Spring Cleaned Blog.....

and an afternoon of indulgence!..... I lulled myself into a false sense of security last week when i thought that the project that I was working on was wrapping up!... alas last week was 4am starts and 9pm finishes again and all day saturday!... no time for any fun.... The only highlight was apparently the sun shone!... so hopefully spring is around the corner.
This morning was cemetary and chores and this afternoon I will be catching up on replay on my Tv box!... It will consist of a bit of this, followed by some of this and maybe this! I am of course talking of Glee, which is currently my guilty indulgence!
This weeks book read has been the fabulous Love Letters by katie fforde, which has been fab, it will make you want to go to a book festival!... maybe a trip to hay-on-wye can be planned...mmm
have a fab sunday.... Tx

Much Love on Mums day!

today it's mothers day ...so a time to say thank you and show you care.... I dropped a little bag of treats over to my mum this morning on route to the cemetery with some flowers for my nan.
Mothers day always brings an array of emotion for me, as i don't have a normal mother/daughter relationship with mum, but that doesn't mean that i love her any less. So Much Love & Thanks on Mothers Day.

Whilst life laundering a cupboard the other day, I came upon my cousins wedding photo's. Inside was a photograph of me, my nan & my mum, I think this is the only photo I have of the 3 of us together.... (it was many years ago and please excuse the awful peach bridesmaid dress!)...
