The rain in Spain.....

stays mainly in the plain!....alas, no I haven't been on a holiday...a couple of  Monday's ago i ventured out after work to see Pygmalion at the Garrick Theatre. As the weather was glorious in London I took a leisurely stroll through the back streets to the theatre taking in the sights & sunshine of
the city.
Pygmalion is the story written by Bernard Shaw that influenced the film "My Fair Lady" ... sticking to the original story, this play has a stellar cast including Diana Rigg, Roberta Taylor, Kara Tointon and the very dashing and perfect Henry Higgens - Rupert Everrett. If there ever was a role made for Rupert then this is it... articulate, arrogant and very dashing, need I say more!

Dreaded sitting in a theatre on the hottest day of the year, but I was pleasantly surprised on how cool it was... great air conditioning system...
Thoroughly enjoyed the play,
If you get to see it before Rupert leaves for TV commitments you're in for a treat... (15th Aug)
more theatre trips to come... have three things in the calendar in the next few weeks!
