and I will be on a plane on my way to New York!.... a bit of a spur of the moment thing but I am so looking forward to a week away, and where else should a girl go 3 weeks before Christmas!Thank-you to everyone who emailed me to see if I was ok after my weekend, I'm feeling much better now and I've got NY to look forward too!

Thanks for including those links. Just spent a few minutes looking ar Crate and Barrel. I think I would want to buy half the Christmas stock!

I'm sooo jealous!!! I have to wait till next year till I go again!
The one shop I keep hearing about in NY that I've yet to visit is Tinsel Trading, I'll see if i can find a link and email you.
Also if you're interested in the supermarkets (Walmart & Target) and the craft shop Michaels, I can give you the info on how to visit them.
Of course there's the Shabby Chic shop although as it's changed it might be pricey these days!

Teresa I hope that you enjoy your time away. I'm sure that a break will do you the world of good. I know that christmas will most probably be very hard for you so doing something different before might ease the pain you may feel. I've just lost my mother and father in law within the space of 17 days, and my auntie went suddenly last week. My thoughts are with you. Enjoy your time Yola x
