Picnic in the Park!............

well not quite!.........the car park of Wembley Stadium. Today Saracens took on Northampton saints at Wembley Statdium. It's the first time that a Rugby match has taken place on the hollowed turf of wembley and what a fab day was had my all!.... in fact over 44,000 of us.

We arrived at Wembley at set up the picnic..... the weather was glorious and several other people had the same idea! After being fed and watered we entered the stadium.

It is a fantastic venue and bathed in the sunshine it looked glorious. There was entertainment on before the game which included a band called The Lightnings, Sarries 'v' Saints tug of war, and then Diversity (winners of Britains got Talent),

This was then followed by the Royal Marines who abseiled off the top of the stadium with the ball to start the game along with the Sarries mascot!

Game kicked off and it was thrilling... another nail biter for sarries with saints having a try disallowed 90 seconds from the end!....

we finished off the afternoon finishing off the picnic in the park!
